"Mom, dogs don't talk."

Wil is an incredibly literal child.  In his gentle way he reminds us daily of the inaccuracies of our figurative speech.  Like today, when I asked Wil to ask Jake if he wanted to go outside.  He reminded me, that Jake couldn't answer him even if he asked.  Wil also makes it a point to tell us when we've used the wrong label for something...cup instead of glass, blanket instead of bedspread, marker instead of pen and so on.  I guess this could all get annoying someday, but for now it's cute and he keeps us on our toes...I mean feet!
