My name is Angela and I am the proud mom of the two active little boys featured in this blog. I am a Creative Director. I love my job and the flexibility it affords me to spend time with my amazing little men!
In my spare time, I am the artist of my own life. I love photographing my children, writing, painting, scrapbooking, interior decorating and cooking. Just seeing if my friends are paying attention—I actually don't cook! Although I do eat, which is why I try to stay active. Speaking of which, I ran my first half-marathon on June 9th! Who am I?
I am surrounded by an amazing family who live close by and are as much a part of my children's lives as me and their dad are. It really does take a village! People often ask me how I do it and my short answer is, F-A-M-I-L-Y! They are the reason I look like I do it all with such ease!
And, then there are my girlfriends (my village), who are there for me as life twists and turns around unexpected bends. They are an eclectic group of women who keep me grounded and help me make sense of the world around me. Each one offers me unconditional love and generously shares their talents, time and treasures with me and my boys.
Around one of those "unexpected bends" I found Brooks—the man of my dreams and the person I hope to spend the rest of my life with. There are simply no words to describe what he means to me, except to say that he was worth the wait.
